Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu seniors’ home

The Maison des Aînés de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is located on land beside the Gertrude-Lafrance CHSLD (a residential and long-term care centre). The construction of an additional three floors, equipped as three separate units, adds 192 beds for increasingly dependent senior citizens.

This new concept in health care provides multiple services along with access to specialists, allowing residents to enjoy their latter years with dignity and respect. Epsylon is happy to have been chosen by the contractor, EBC, to participate in this institutional project.

ETS, Pavilion F

Epsylon was chosen by EBC for the construction of Pavilion F on the l’École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS) campus. The new building, located at the south end of the main pavilion on Rue William in Montréal, is six storeys tall and also has a basement. The building has a total surface area of over 13,000 m² with space for 2,375 students and staff members.

The project was begun in 2021, and includes nearly 30 classrooms, open learning areas, study rooms, offices for research centres and much more. Epsylon is happy to be contributing to a place of learning designed for the coming generations of ETS graduates.

CNESST – new headquarters

Epsylon has been selected for the construction of the building envelope of the new headquarters of the CNESST (Quebec’s occupational health and safety authority). This new building will be located in the future Estimauville eco-district, in Quebec city, at the corner of avenue d’Estimauville and boulevard Ste-Anne.

We are proud to partner up with EBC for this new unique project, which will aim for the LEED certification and will integrate aluminum with wood in an innovative manner in its curtain wall envelope.

Humaniti Montreal

The Humaniti project is truly a Smart Vertical Community. The glass building features bold, distinctive architecture developed by Cogir Immobilier in partnership with the Fonds Immobilier de Solidarité FTQ. Humaniti is designed to promote the well-being of those who live in it, the dialogue between them, and the space they inhabit. It offers an inspiring lifestyle, unique in Montreal.

The multi-use tower is over 40 storeys tall, and includes condos, a hotel, rental apartments, offices and a restaurant. Epsylon produced and installed over 270,000 sq. ft. of prefabricated curtain walls, in partnership with contractor EBC and architectural firm Lemay. To this day, Humaniti remains one of the largest Epsylon curtain wall projects.  
