GMP Royalmount CMWP

Epsylon participated in the construction of biologic production facilities to support the long-term development of Canada’s ability to protect its citizens’ health.

The production centre was completed and made operational in record time. This new infrastructure has strengthened Canada’s overall readiness for biofabrication and preparedness in response to a pandemic by allowing vaccines and other biologic drugs to be developed entirely in Canada, from invention through to the final product.

Solstice Montreal

Solstice Montréal is the latest addition to a group of skyscrapers located at the heart of the city, near Bell Centre.

The 44-storey building includes 330 luxury condominiums of various sizes, from studios to one-, two- and three-bedroom units to penthouses.

The greatest care has been taken with the curtain wall envelope and exterior finish, fabricated and installed by Epsylon, and with the fit-up of the residences and common areas, which feature refined, inviting materials like oak, Montreal greystone and copper.

In addition to the exceptional amenities provided to residents, Solstice Montréal will include 5,000 sq. ft. of retail space at the base of the building.

 

Heron Water Street

Located in Tampa Bay, on the west coast of Florida, this new luxury residential complex will feature two condominium towers, rising to 26 and 21 storeys respectively, which will be linked by a commercial walkway.

This project will include 420 rental residences in total, with a view on Tampa’s landscape and historic Hillsborough bay.

Epsylon USA will be responsible for this project’s building envelope, for which installation will begin in September 2019.

1100 W Cleveland Street

Located in Clearview, Florida, and initially planned to be an office tower, the 1100 W Cleveland has been bought by GlenStar Properties, which is planning an apartment complex with 10,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

Epsylon has been chosen for the manufacture and installation of the window wall envelope of this 15-story building.

Technopole CHU Ste-Justine

We are very happy to have earned the mandate for the construction of the building envelope for CHU Ste-Justine’s new “Technopole” in pediatric rehabilitation.

This ambitious project is a result of a joint work between researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs and industrials of Quebec and features the construction of a new building that is part of CHU Ste-Justine’s rehabilitation centre; recruiting of new researchers, teachers and clinicians specialized in rehabilitation, and partnerships with institutions and organizations working in the field of pediatric rehabilitation. Epsylon undertook the construction of the building envelope of this new centre.

Le Diamant theater

Epsylon is very proud to have obtained the mandate for the realization of the glazing architecture that is the signature of Robert Lepage’s new theater Le Diamant, in Quebec city.

The architecture of the new Diamant shows a great concern for keeping the historical heritage of the city in this new entertainment venue. The ancient facade of the YMCA has been completely restored, while a massive glass caisson, which constitutes the building envelope, is inserted with an inclination that joins the line traced by the côte d’Abraham, a street that formerly linked the lower town to the porte Saint-Jean. Epsylon is honoured to have been part of this wonderful project that perfectly combines traditional architecture and contemporary style, thus offering an exceptional showcase for Quebec city’s cultural richness.

Virage Bayshore condominiums

The Virage Bayshore is a 24-story, 71-unit high-end condominium tower with views of Hillsborough Bay and the downtown Tampa skyline.

Epsylon took part in this project with the manufacture and installation of windows and sliding glass doors.

Synase medical center

Synase medical center is a new unique complex located in Quebec city. This 125 000 sq.ft. building features a super-clinic and a back diseases center that is exclusive in Quebec.

Epsylon took part in this project with the construction of the whole curtain wall building envelope.

Mystique Condominiums

Mystique Condominiums represents one of the last new ultra-luxury high rise developments being built in Pelican Bay, Naples, Florida.

Located against the Gulf of Mexico, theses residences feature windows and sliding glass doors provided by Epsylon.

IKEA – Quebec City

IKEA makes a big return in Quebec city with the construction of a whole new superstore in the Sainte-Foy area.

The 340 000 sq. ft. store features a restaurant, a showroom, a market hall and a playroom for kids. Epsylon has ben chosen for the manufacture and installation of curtain walls for this new IKEA building that has been open to customers since summer 2018.

Carré St-Laurent

We are very proud to get this mandate which consists of elaborating the exterior envelope of the new Carré St-Laurent in Montreal.

This brand new mixed-use building complex of approximately 260,000 sq. ft. showcases a unique commercial space for grocery purposes, on the ground floor, the Montreal History Centre on the first floor as well as 700 employees from the government of Quebec that are spread out over 8 floors in the south tower. Such project aims to obtain a LEED NE certification in accordance with sustainable development principles.

This new building will undoubtedly become an icon in downtown Montreal, at the corner of St. Laurent Boulevard and Ste. Catherine Street.

Park Hyatt Hotel

The Park Hyatt is a new Luxury Hotel on the island of Saint Kitts in the West Indies, for which Epsylon provided and installed window walls and sliding glass doors.

Alt+ Hotel – Quartier DIX30

Epsylon will take part in the construction of the brand new Alt+ Hotel in Brossard that will complement the accommodation offer in the Quartier DIX30. We will provide and install windows.

Parkline at MiamiCentral

Located directly above the All Aboard Florida’s MiamiCentral Station, the condominium project Parkline features two new high-end residential towers with privileged access to this train station.

The north tower rises to 33 floors, whereas the south tower features 39 stories.

Epsylon took part in the construction of these two towers with the manufacture and installation of all windows and sliding glass doors.

Science Complex – University of Montreal MIL Campus

As the new University of Montreal major building, the Science Complex is one of the biggest world-class innovation centers where more than 2,000 students and 200 teachers are welcomed every year.

More than 215,000 ft2 of unitized curtain walls have been installed by Epsylon on this large-scale campus.

National Assembly of Quebec – Reception Pavilion

Between spring 2016 and spring 2019, public areas in front of the Parliament Building and the inner courtyard turned into a huge construction site in order to allow the construction of an underground reception pavilion of approximately 3,800 sq. m., in addition to the 1,500 sq. m. expansion below the inner courtyard.

Epsylon is proud to have participated in such project by providing and installing curtain walls.

S11 Building – Quartier DIX30

This new commercial building, which features office spaces, is erected in the well-known Quartier DIX30 in Brossard, Quebec.

Montreal Data Center

Griffintown, an important industrial district in Montreal, just received this building, which is one of the biggest data centers ever built in an urban area in Canada.

This 253,000 sq. ft. 10-storey building features 79,000 sq. ft. of curtain walls provided by Epsylon.

Collins Park Hotel

The Collins Park Hotel Miami is a luxury hotel that consists in the restoration and adaptive re-use of a collection of historic buildings located within the Museum Historic District in Miami Beach.

Epsylon took part in this project with the manufacture and installation of windows and sliding glass doors.

The Roccabella II

The Roccabella II is the second phase of a luxury condominium project located near the Bell Centre in Montreal.

Epsylon has been selected to undertake the construction of the exterior envelope of this 40-storey tower, which takes place next to the first one, already built. This project features more than 185,000 sq. ft. of curtain walls, aluminum panels, and patio doors.

Fresk Tower

The new Fresk Tower is built in the Place Jacques-Cartier, located in the St. Roch neighborhood in Quebec City.

This residential tower with abundant windows and unique architecture includes 169 rental apartments. This eco-friendly building has 88,000 sq. ft. of curtain walls provided by Epsylon and uses 30% less energy than any other building.

 

Ottawa Train Yards Building

This all-new 9-storey office building, located near the popular Ottawa Trainyards shopping centre, features more than 60,000 sq. ft. of curtain walls provided by Epsylon.

Marriott Hotel Port-au-Prince

Epsylon participated in the construction of the new Marriott hotel in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, by providing and installing window walls and curtain walls.

Quebec City Airport (YQB 2018)

Jean-Lesage International Airport continues its expansion and has undertaken construction works that have doubled the area of its international concourse.

More than 56,000 ft2 of curtain walls have been installed by Epsylon.

Canvas Condominiums

Located in Miami, Florida, the magnificent Canvas Condos residential project will rise up to 37 floors and feature a mostly curtain wall facade.

Such condominium project will be part of the newly emerging Arts and Entertainment District in downtown Miami.

Maison Manuvie

Maison Manuvie is an exceptional building, featuring state-of-the-art technology and will soon become an icon in downtown Montreal.

This 27-storey office tower will occupy more than 486,000 sq. ft. and aim for a LEED Gold certification. Such building will feature more than 225,000 sq. ft. of curtain walls provided by Epsylon.

Peloro Miami Beach

Located on the south shore of Miami Beach Island, Peloro is a 7-storey residential project including 113 luxury homes as well as numerous areas dedicated to outdoor activities and sports. Over 40,000 sq. ft. of glazing has been installed by Epsylon into such building, whose luminosity is inspired by a lighthouse.

Fendi Chateau

The Fendi Chateau is a new housing Boutique-Condo Style development which extends over 12 floors and includes 58 ocean view luxury homes.

Such complex is located near Bal Harbour and has 91,000 sq. ft. of fenestration.

Oceana Bal Harbour

Located at what used to be the Bal Harbour Club, the Oceana Bal Harbour is a 28-storey residential complex with 240 ocean view luxury condominiums.

This project includes over 224,000 sq. ft. of glazing and is located on the popular Collins Avenue in Miami.

Biscayne Beach

Located on the city shores of Biscayne Bay, the Biscayne Beach is a new residential tower dedicated to sophisticated seaside living.

With its 399 residences, the building features 210,000 sq. ft. of curtain walls installed by Epsylon.

The Surf Club

As a member of the well-known Four Seasons hotel chain, the Surf Club is a luxury hotel that perfectly blends into Miami’s glamorous lifestyle.

Epsylon participated to the construction of this hotel by manufacturing most of the window wall envelopes.

Digicel Corporate Headquarters

For the Digicel Headquarters in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Epsylon removed the existing curtain wall that was damaged by the 2010 earthquake and installed a new curtain wall, as part of the Earthquake Recovery Program.

Palau Sunset Harbour

The Palau Sunset Harbour is a waterfront residential complex located in Sunset Harbour, near South Beach. This most elegant building features 30,000 sq. ft. of curtain walls.

Wilder Espace Danse

Epsylon is proud to have participated to the construction of the magnificent Wilder Espace Danse Building, by manufacturing the entire exterior envelope in prefabricated curtain walls and aluminum panels.

Montreal’s Grands Ballets Canadiens, Tangente, Montreal’s School of Contemporary Dance as well as l’Agora de la danse will occupy this building that has been expanded, renovated, and equipped with infrastructure that now meet this industry’s international standards and essential equipment that will contribute to strengthen Montreal’s and Quebec’s position as a global dance, creativity and innovation centre.

SSQ Tower

The new SSQ Tower is a mixed-use office space building including a shopping mall that totals 250,000 sq. ft. and rises up to 12 storeys. It features more than 102,000 sq. ft. of curtain walls and aims for a LEED certification.

Ericsson Canada

The new Ericsson headquarters, located in Ville Saint Laurent (Montreal), are a unique office space and cater to the human needs of its occupants.

Almost the entire space has access to natural light. Furthermore, the project seeks a LEED Gold certification. Of a surface area of 275,000 sq. ft., more than 84,000 sq. ft. of curtain walls have been installed.

Estimauville PWGSC Building

Epsylon took part in the realization of the ‘‘Estimauville PWGSC’’ project, a 175,000 sq. ft. building of 10 floors where work more than 740 local government officers.

The edifice obtained the LEED Gold certification and Epsylon furnished prefabricated curtain walls as well as all the aluminum panels, doors, and frames.

The Bond on Brickell

The Bond on Brickell is a condominium building located on Brickell Avenue in Miami, Florida. This 44-storey building welcomes numerous residents with its 328 luxurious condominiums.

Brickell City Centre

The Brickell City Centre is located in the heart of Brickell Financial District in Miami, Florida. This 5.4 million sq. ft. project houses offices, condominiums, hotels, and shopping centres.

Marina Palms

Marina Palms is a residential complex located on Biscayne Boulevard, in the south of Florida. Epsylon took part in the construction of two buildings of 468 oceanfront luxury condominiums.

 

Centre Vidéotron

Located on the ExpoCité site in the La Cité-Limoilou borough, the Centre Vidéotron is Quebec City’s official amphitheatre and will welcome international events along with a potential professional hockey team.

Epsylon could not be more proud to elaborate the entire exterior envelope, interior windows, and glazing of such magnificient emblematic building.

Harbourside Jupiter Waterways

Habourside Jupiter Waterways is a full-scale development located in the town of Jupiter in Northern Palm Beach County, Florida. Harbourside Place is South Florida’s first choice destination for recreation and relaxation, thanks to its entertainment plaza, outdoor amphitheatre, retail space, restaurants and eateries, office sites, and hotel accommodations.

Once again, Epsylon USA has stood out with the installation of 60,000 sq. ft. of window walls and sliding glass doors for the construction of this project.

Centropolis

Located in downtown Laval, Centropolis has welcomed this new 6-storey Class A office building thanks to a 30 M$ investment from Ivanhoé Cambridge.

This building was an important development project rising in this area and has reinforced Centropolis’ goal of becoming a multifunctionnal service center. Such shopping centre was built in compliance with the highest contruction industry standards. Epsylon was proud to be part of this initiative as our company put measures in place in order to make sure that products offered, including curtain walls, complied with socially responsible standards.

This new building of the Centropolis is certified LEED Gold.

Place Viau

Epsylon gladly took part in the complete redevelopment of the Place Viau shopping center in Montreal.

First Capital, who are the promoters of this project, plan the demolition of existing commercial buildings, the construction of an underground commercial space of more than 9,000 sq. m adjacent to 1,000 parking lots, the construction of ground-level commercial spaces and the construction of two six-storey residential towers with 288 apartments. Epsylon was glad to participate to this project by providing aluminium, glass, and glazing.

Shriners Hospital for Children

Epsylon was proud to contribute to the construction of the new Shriners Hospital for Children that is part of the Glen Hospital Campus in the McGill University Health Centre, in which we collaborated as well.

Deloitte Tower

Deloitte Tower is located between the Bell Centre and Windsor Station in Montreal, has 28 floors and is one of the most visible towers in downtown Montreal.

This modern building is the foundation of rental offices that perform commercial activities. Epsylon’s expertise has been called for the design and installation of 285,000 sq. ft. of prefabricated curtain walls that cover over 80% of the building envelope. In this way, Deloitte Tower is the first office building in Montreal with a LEED Platinum certification that guarantees an energy cost reduction by 35 to 40%. Also, this decreases expenses and harmful emissions.This is a great achievement for our company!

Chateau Beach

Chateau Beach is a luxury condominium building located in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Epsylon USA obtained the contract for the supply and installation of 125,000 sq. ft. of 2-sided silicone window walls for the building envelope.

Complexe de la Capitale (Phase 5)

“Complexe La Capitale” is a 9-storey office tower with a surface area of 174,000 sq. ft. and is located on “Boulevard des Galeries”, in Lebourgneuf. For the building envelope, Epsylon used high-performance prefabricated curtain walls made up of glass and aluminum panels.

Montreal Biodome

This project consisted in replacing roof skylights in the Montreal Biodome, which was a complex and technical challenge due to the particular 3D geometry of the roof. Epsylon’s team has overcome this challenge brilliantly when executing construction works for Phases II, III, and IV, now completed.

The company replaced the majority of the 55 existing skylights over a period of 5 years, which was quicker than expected: an achievement we are proud of!

Super PEPS – University Laval

With the help of Epsylon, the University Laval built the Super PEPS, which is Eastern Canada’s most important sports complex. This 85 million $ project consisted in extending current facilities in order to add an olympic swimming pool and an amphitheater gym with a capacity of 3,500 seats.

The four major additions have made University Laval’s sports center one of the most modern complexes in Quebec and even in Canada.

Cité Desjardins de la Coopération

In order to strengthen its position at the heart of the city of Levis economic development, the Desjardins Group restructured its office building and granted itself with this magnificient 15-storey glass tower, which has obtained the LEED Gold certification.

For the Cité Desjardins, Epsylon elaborated the entire exterior envelope of this 380,000 sq. ft. building with prefabricated curtain walls.

McGill University Health Centre

The McGill University Health Centre was a 2.5-billion redevelopment project which implied the construction of three sites: the Glen Site, the Montreal General Hospital, and the Lachine Hospital.

Epsylon participated to the realization of this project by providing curtain walls, aluminum panels, and skylights for the envelope of these buildings.

The Glen site of the McGill University Health Centre is the first hospital in the province of Quebec that has received the LEED Gold certification. We are proud to have contributed to this achievement.

500 Grande-Allée Building

The 500 Grande-Allée is a prestigious and entirely renovated office building. The project for this building was to reshape top floors and new premises on the last two floors.

Research Centre of the Montreal University Hospital Centre

Epsylon was proud to have been selected for the construction of the external prefabricated curtain wall envelope of high thermal performance for the new Research Centre of the Montreal University Hospital Centre (CRCHUM).

Epsylon was chosen for its expertise in the design and engineering of performing curtain walls that possess upscale features in terms of acoustics and thermal performances. The project consisted in the conception, construction, and maintenance of the new 69,000 sq. m. research centre.

The CRCHUM has obtained the LEED Gold certification.

La Capitale Headquarters

La Capitale Headquarters are located in this magnificient 10-storey building that is worth 80 million $, on North Grande-Allée in Quebec City.

Epsylon had been chosen for the design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation of limestone curtain walls for the building envelope. With everyone’s collaboration, this building has obtained the LEED Gold certification.

CCQ Headquarters

Epsylon took part in the construction of the Commission de la Construction du Québec Headquarters by elaborating prefabricated curtain walls.

This building has obtained the LEED Gold certification.

Ste-Justine Hospital

Epsylon took part to the construction of the Ste. Justine Hospital with the conception, manufacturing, and installation of curtain walls.

Science Complex

Epsylon was involved in the renovation and expansion of Quebec’s Science Complex by restoring its building envelope.

The surface to be covered was a 120,000 sq. ft. envelope that was spread over 120 bay windows. The work involved the supply and installation of high-performance curtain walls, aluminum panels, and prefabricated silicone 4-face spandrels.

La Maison Symphonique

Epsylon was proud to join the Ovation Property Group and SNC-Lavalin, respectively supervisor and general contractor for the permanent residence of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra (MSO).

Our participation in building the new concert hall at Place des Arts was seen in the design of curtain walls and windows of an exceptional sound quality. The MSO resides in a musical space that meets the highest international quality standards.

La Maison Symphonique has received the LEED certification.

Mail Champlain

For the Champlain Mall project in Brossard, Epsylon manufactured and installed new skylights.

Complexe Jules-Dallaire – Phases I et II

The Jules-Dallaire Complex is the first large-scale project carried out by Epsylon that had been selected for the conception, manufacturing, and installation of curtain walls for the external envelope.

After completing with success the project’s Phase I, Epsylon was called again for the entire fenestration of the second tower. For this project’s Phase II, Epsylon supplied about 130,000 sq. ft. of curtain walls and, because of its 28 floors; this tower is now the highest one on Laurier Boulevard in Quebec City.

Cité du Savoir

“Concerned about education and health-related causes, it is a privilege for us to be involved in a project where the development of knowledge is in the spotlight.”

When it began its activities, Epsylon could only rejoice at the scale that took its order book by entering the imminent completion of the envelope of the “Cité du Savoir” in Laval. This $51 million pavilion, affiliated with the University of Montreal, rises over 6 floors spread over a total area of 20,500 sq. m. The mandate of Epsylon was to build the building’s exterior envelope on an area of 59,500 sq. ft. using high-performance prefabricated and conventional curtain walls, as well as prefabricated aluminum panels.
