Epsylon participated in the construction of biologic production facilities to support the long-term development of Canada’s ability to protect its citizens’ health.

The production centre was completed and made operational in record time. This new infrastructure has strengthened Canada’s overall readiness for biofabrication and preparedness in response to a pandemic by allowing vaccines and other biologic drugs to be developed entirely in Canada, from invention through to the final product.

Solstice Montreal

Solstice Montréal is the latest addition to a group of skyscrapers located at the heart of the city, near Bell Centre. The 44-storey building includes 330 luxury condominiums of various sizes, from studios to one-, two- and three-bedroom units to penthouses.

The greatest care has been taken with the curtain wall envelope and exterior finish, fabricated and installed by Epsylon, and with the fit-up of the residences and common areas, which feature refined, inviting materials like oak, Montreal greystone and copper.

In addition to the exceptional amenities provided to residents, Solstice Montréal will include 5,000 sq. ft. of retail space at the base of the building.

 

Heron Water Street

Located in Tampa Bay, on the west coast of Florida, this new luxury residential complex will feature two condominium towers, rising to 26 and 21 storeys respectively, which will be linked by a commercial walkway. This project will include 420 rental residences in total, with a view on Tampa’s landscape and historic Hillsborough bay.

Epsylon USA will be responsible for this project’s building envelope, for which installation will begin in September 2019.

IKEA – Quebec City

IKEA makes a big return in Quebec city with the construction of a whole new superstore in the Sainte-Foy area. The 340 000 sq. ft. store features a restaurant, a showroom, a market hall and a playroom for kids. Epsylon has ben chosen for the manufacture and installation of curtain walls for this new IKEA building that has been open to customers since summer 2018.

1100 W Cleveland Street

Located in Clearview, Florida, and initially planned to be an office tower, the 1100 W Cleveland has been bought by GlenStar Properties, which is planning an apartment complex with 10,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Epsylon has been chosen for the manufacture and installation of the window wall envelope of this 15-story building.

Carré St-Laurent

We are very proud to get this mandate which consists of elaborating the exterior envelope of the new Carré St-Laurent in Montreal. This brand new mixed-use building complex of approximately 260,000 sq. ft. showcases a unique commercial space for grocery purposes, on the ground floor, the Montreal History Centre on the first floor as well as 700 employees from the government of Quebec that are spread out over 8 floors in the south tower. Such project aims to obtain a LEED NE certification in accordance with sustainable development principles.

This new building will undoubtedly become an icon in downtown Montreal, at the corner of St. Laurent Boulevard and Ste. Catherine Street.

Technopole CHU Ste-Justine

We are very happy to have earned the mandate for the construction of the building envelope for CHU Ste-Justine’s new “Technopole” in pediatric rehabilitation.

This ambitious project is a result of a joint work between researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs and industrials of Quebec and features the construction of a new building that is part of CHU Ste-Justine’s rehabilitation centre; recruiting of new researchers, teachers and clinicians specialized in rehabilitation, and partnerships with institutions and organizations working in the field of pediatric rehabilitation. Epsylon undertook the construction of the building envelope of this new centre.

Le Diamant theater

Epsylon is very proud to have obtained the mandate for the realization of the glazing architecture that is the signature of Robert Lepage’s new theater Le Diamant, in Quebec city.

The architecture of the new Diamant shows a great concern for keeping the historical heritage of the city in this new entertainment venue. The ancient facade of the YMCA has been completely restored, while a massive glass caisson, which constitutes the building envelope, is inserted with an inclination that joins the line traced by the côte d’Abraham, a street that formerly linked the lower town to the porte Saint-Jean. Epsylon is honoured to have been part of this wonderful project that perfectly combines traditional architecture and contemporary style, thus offering an exceptional showcase for Quebec city’s cultural richness.

National Assembly of Quebec – Reception Pavilion

Between spring 2016 and spring 2019, public areas in front of the Parliament Building and the inner courtyard turned into a huge construction site in order to allow the construction of an underground reception pavilion of approximately 3,800 sq. m., in addition to the 1,500 sq. m. expansion below the inner courtyard.

Epsylon is proud to have participated in such project by providing and installing curtain walls.

Virage Bayshore condominiums

The Virage Bayshore is a 24-story, 71-unit high-end condominium tower with views of Hillsborough Bay and the downtown Tampa skyline.

Epsylon took part in this project with the manufacture and installation of windows and sliding glass doors.
